Team Hoyt Shines in SoCal

With the sun shining and arrows flying, Team Hoyt shooters prevailed, yet again, with another impressive performance at the USA Archery SoCal Showdown in Chula Vista, California.

Men’s Recurve started hot and steamrolled right over their competition, resulting in a Hoyt Podium Sweep! Shooters Jake Kaminski, Crispin Duenas, and Collin Klimitchek took Gold, Silver and Bronze, in the mentioned order. Each archer was rocking a Prodigy series riser with world renowned Formula Quattro limbs, a winning combo, as proven by the results.

Womens Recurve also performed extremely well, bringing home the Gold and Silver medals to cap off a dominating performance in the recurve divisions. They won 7 of the 8 possible medals.

Compound shooters in both Men and Women’s also brought home some shiny hardware of their own. Reo Wilde and Steve Anderson took Silver and Bronze in Men’s, and Brogan Williams took Silver in Women’s.

An awesome shot of Reo executing a textbook release.

As the sun finally set on a successful tournament, and the USA Team qualifications, Team Hoyt proudly brought home 8 of the 12 medals. America will be cheering on both Reo Wilde and Jamie Van Natta as they represent both Hoyt and their country.

As always, a huge congratulations to the archers and all those who contributed to make the event successful.
