People who GET SERIOUS bows get serious results. See what happens when you GET HOYT.

Bow Used: Vectrix

I didn't get a chance to hit the woods on opening night of bow season, but on the second night I went down and threw up a stand to hunt out of that night. It was around 90 degrees so the sweat was rolling off my face, and the mosquitos were awful - but it definitely paid off when this huge full velvet buck pushed his way through the willows and popped out right underneath my stand. He than turned and walked almost straight away when my Vectrix sent an arrow right in front of his back legs, through all of the vitals and out the middle of his chest. The deer only ran 25 yards before I heard him tip over in the willows. I tell you what, there is no set of words that can describe the feeling of knowing that I just put a 160-class buck in the dirt. His rack is extremely massive and he has 5 big stickers on the base of his left antler, making him a huge 9x5. This buck was actually my third straight velvet whitetail and by far the biggest. I hunt on public land without using baits or attractants or anything of that sort, so it is truely the ultimate challenge.
